Acuerdo Extrajudicial de £380,000
Siobhan McIvor, socia de Osbornes Law, ha llegado a un acuerdo en una reunión extrajudicial donde acordaron la suma de £380 000.
Detalles del Accidente
A la demandante la atropelló un patinete eléctrico al cruzar la calle, lo que le produjo unas lesiones terribles, como la pérdida total de la visión de un ojo, una lesión cerebral traumática que le dejó algunos problemas cognitivos leves y varias lesiones ortopédicas.
Rehabilitación y Negociación
Al principio, la aseguradora intentó negar responsabilidad, pero, después, reconocieron que su cliente tuvo la culpa gracias a la persistencia de Osbornes Law en insistir en que era el único responsable.
Osbornes Law consiguió que la demandante recibiera una rehabilitación exhaustiva para ayudarla en su recuperación, que financió la compañía de seguros del usuario del patinete eléctrico. También contó con asistencia financiera de la aseguradora durante el proceso de la reclamación, recibió pagos provisionales de cuantías considerables.
La aseguradora del usuario del patinete intentó comprar a la demandante con varias ofertas que iban desde las 50 000 a las 230 000 libras y que Osbornes Law recomendó rechazar.
