Writing for the Law Society Gazette, Naomi explores the current challenges and problems around international surrogacy and the differing current laws governing surrogacy arrangements across the world.

She highlights that the current laws in England, Wales and Scotland will not address the plight of babies abroad who are waiting for their surrogate parents to collect them.

Naomi Angell leads the Adoption, Surrogacy and Fertility Law Unit at Osbornes Law. She has specialised in intercountry and domestic adoption for over 25 years. Through her case work and support initiatives Naomi has been recognised by legal directories Chambers UK and Legal 500.
