Read moreAlicja graduated in 2010 with a 2:1 LLB Law before she enrolled on the LPC course at Kaplan Law School in 2011. She is currently studying an LLM in Legal Practice at Nottingham Law School on a part-time basis.
Alicja joined Osbornes Solicitors LLP as a Paralegal in the Family Department in June 2016 and works closely with Martin Ross who is a Partner in the department. Prior to coming to Osbornes, Alicja worked as a Project Compliance Officer at the Polish British Integration Centre coordinating a team of multilingual advisers in partnership with the Citizen Advice Bureau and an Interpreter for Central Bedfordshire Authority, where she assisted Polish-speaking clients throughout the child protection process and public law proceedings. She has gained her experience in acting pro bono as a McKenzie friend for parents and family members in domestic violence and child disputes including child arrangements (contact/residence/custody), applications for Non-Molestation Orders, Specific Issue Orders and Declarations of Parentage.
Alicja speaks fluent Polish.
Outside of work, Alicja has a keen interest in participating in community-based initiatives dedicated to raising awareness of professional advice and support for families and children in the UK.
