Osbornes expands Medical Negligence team with new senior hire

12 Sep 2023

Osbornes Law has appointed medical negligence specialist Josie Robinson to further strengthen the team that has grown to ten strong under the leadership of Stephanie Prior.

With over 20-years’ experience, Josie joins from another leading firm where she spent several years handling serious and complex medical negligence claims with a focus on pelvic mesh cases.

Having originally practiced as a physiotherapist for more than ten years, Josie retrained in 1997 and is a regular speaker at medical conferences, utilising her previous clinician training to help other medical experts.

Stephanie Prior, the head of our Medical Negligence team says: “We are delighted to welcome Josie to the team at Osbornes where she will undoubtedly help us continue our recent growth in this practice area. Having worked alongside Josie at Anthony Gold, I’m also personally thrilled to reconnect with her and bring her expertise and client focused commitment to the team at Osbornes.”

Josie says: “I am excited to have joined Osbornes as it feels a great fit for me in every way. I’m also happy to be reunited with Stephanie, and with Jodie Newton who I worked with previously at Hudgells. Having worked as a sole practitioner for a number of years where a client-first mentality was hugely important, it’s great to be back in an environment where that is paramount. I look forward to building on the growth Stephanie has achieved and am eager to expand our roster of clients with pelvic mesh cases as this is a hugely important area to me, where too many clients are still underrepresented.”
