Elline Demetriou Featured by the Law Society Gazette in ‘Lawyer in the News’

We are proud to announce that Elline Demetriou, Associate Solicitor in the firm’s Medical Negligence department, has been profiled by the Law Society Gazette in its prestigious “Lawyer in the News” column, in recognition of her work representing the family of Libby Instone, a 20-year-old law student who died in 2023 following multiple attendances at North Tees Hospital.
Libby’s inquest, held earlier this year, resulted in a finding of neglect. Full details of the case are available in our case study here.
In her interview with the Gazette, Elline spoke about the emotional weight of representing Libby’s family, what first drew her to a career in law, and the highs and lows of working in medical negligence.
