Osbornes rated an Outstanding Place to Work by ‘Best Companies’

Launched in 2001 Best Companies to Work For Lists and Best Companies Accreditation are now recognised as the standard in workplace engagement. The accreditation is awarded to organisations of all sizes after surveying staff, the results of which remain anonymous.

Staff are surveyed on eight key values of the organisation they work for including questions on the senior leadership team, career progression, teamwork, well-being and giving back to the community.

For the second year running, Osbornes achieved two out of three stars which means the firms is an outstanding place to work.

The firm scored highly across all values, and especially well in the areas of personal growth and career development and confidence in the senior leadership team. Our staff also highlighted that senior managers are visible and approachable. The firm was also praised for its retention rate, with many partners and senior leaders having been at he firm since being trainee solicitors.

In addition to the ranking, Best Companies have also released there annual recognition league tables. Osbornes appear in 3 tables and is now considered the second best mid-sized company to work for in London – up from 16th last year – and 24th in the UK, up from 83rd.

Osbornes is also fifth – up from 16th – on the list of the UK’s best mid-sized law firms.

Osbornes has seen record growth and is now home to twenty-nine partners and over 170 members of staff. The firm already known for its low staff turnover and boasts a leadership team that includes:

• 18 female partners.
• 8 partners who trained at the firm.
• 7 partners who have been at the firm for over 20 years; and
• 22 partners who were promoted internally.
