Jonathan specialises in costing and is responsible for the recovery of costs in the Housing and Social Care Team in both matters funded by public funding and private paying clients. He also regularly assists fee earners in undertaking costs negotiations and facilitates court assessment of client’s costs in order to recover the costs of litigation from the opponent or the Legal Aid Agency.
Jonathan has a good track record of recovering costs for the firm and ensuring clients maximise their recovery of damages.
Prior to joining Osbornes Law as a costs paralegal in the Housing and Social Care team in 2015, Jonathan worked as a law costs draftsman at a another UK national law firm.
Jonathan studied LLB Law at King’s College London and graduated in 2010. Jonathan completed the Legal Practitioner’s Course with Kaplan Law School in 2014 and is due to start his training contract with Osbornes in September 2020.
Jonathan is a keen sportsman and enjoys playing football and tennis, as well as cooking, dabbling in photography and travelling around the world with his wife.
