Public Law Paralegal
Osbornes are recruiting for a paralegal to assist two senior solicitors (Alex McMahon and Edward Taylor) in our busy public law practice which primarily concerns claims brought on behalf of vulnerable asylum-seeking minors/claimed minors. The successful applicant will also gain experience in other areas of public law including in relation to asylum support, community care and housing law challenges.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a leading team and individuals ranked in the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners directories. You will be working within a friendly and supportive team who are impassioned to achieve justice for the most marginalised in society. There are opportunities for progression within the firm. Many of our solicitors started as paralegals at the firm, including the two senior associates you would be assisting.
Experience of working with either (a) asylum-seeking minors/claimed minors, (b) those experiencing asylum support issues, or (c) those facing social care problems would be an advantage, as would any language skills. However, overall we are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is keen to impress and who shares our passion to help those in need.

We are looking to add this member to the team as soon as possible so please let us know of your availability and any notice period in your cover letter.

5th April 2023 (although applications will be considered upon receipt)
