Private Client Non-Contentious Solicitor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Private Client solicitor to join the non-contentious team in our 17-strong Private Client department.

The team, and the firm as a whole, have both grown progressively over the years and we are looking for an additional Private Client Solicitor to complement our existing established team.

You will deal with a full range of Private Client matters including will drafting, estate administrations, estate planning and Lasting Powers of Attorney. There is also an opportunity to work on Court of Protection matters.

We are looking for a solicitor with 3-4 years PQE to ensure the candidate has the necessary skills and level of expertise required. Being STEP qualified would be an advantage but is not essential. The successful candidate must have good communication skills and be confident, personable and friendly with the ability to build strong, productive relations with clients. You would be joining a forward-thinking and very successful firm which offers good opportunities for development and a competitive salary.

Private Client Contentious Solicitor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to join the contentious team within our Private Client department.

The team, and the firm as a whole, have both grown progressively over the years and we are looking for an additional Solicitor to assist our Senior Associate, Katie de Swarte, with contentious trusts and probate cases.

You will deal with a full range of contentious trust and probate matters including will disputes, removal of executors and trustee claims and claims under the Inheritance Act. There is also an opportunity to work on contentious Court of Protection matters.

We are looking for a Solicitor from NQ to 4 years PQE who is eager to build their career doing solely contentious probate work. Being STEP/ACTAPS qualified would be an advantage but is not essential. The successful candidate must have good communication skills and be confident, personable and friendly with the ability to build strong, productive relations with clients.

Private Client Paralegal

The Osbornes Law Private Client Team has rankings in the Legal 500 and Chambers High Net Worth directories. Personal Injury Paralegal

An opportunity has arisen for a personal injury paralegal to join the catastrophic injury team to assist a partner.

The position is to start in July 2022.

This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a highly respected team. The role includes liaising with some of the country’s leading medical experts and counsel, as well as speaking to clients and their families, so a professional, sensitive and personable approach is required. Assisting in all aspects of catastrophic injury litigation, the role can be challenging at times, but also affords an excellent opportunity to develop a range of skills and contacts essential for anyone wanting to progress in this area of law or more generally in high court litigation.

The ideal candidate will be bright, articulate and enthusiastic about pursuing a career in catastrophic personal injury litigation. They must have a positive, compassionate attitude towards individuals with disabilities, and a genuine desire to help better the lives of people with injuries of the utmost severity.

Previous experience of assisting a catastrophic injury solicitor/partner on their cases is preferable but not essential. A good degree mark (a solid 2:1 or above, but not necessarily a law degree, is required). It is not a requirement to have completed the LPC, but candidates ultimately seeking a training contract with Osbornes are encouraged to apply, as are those looking to pursue a different route to qualification as a solicitor.

There are currently 37 members of the department, including six partners, who work out of the firm’s Camden office. The department is ranked as one of London’s leading personal injury teams, specialising in catastrophic injury claims.

Clinical Negligence Paralegal

We require a clinical negligence paralegal to join our award-winning medical negligence department.

The successful applicant will take on the key role of ‘first response paralegal’  for a range of clinical negligence new client enquiries. You will be the first person new enquiries speak to and therefore communication skills are incredibly important. You will be speaking to individuals who may have had a traumatic experience, it is therefore crucial that as well as being compassionate and showing empathy, you have the ability to gather key information, to be passed on to our senior solicitors.

Whilst first response will be your principal duty, other responsibilities will include assisting solicitors in the department with their client work and updating the new enquiries database and statistics.

The successful candidate must have a law degree, proficient IT skills and an ability to operate document and case management software. Full training will be given.

Personal Injury Case Worker – Romanian Speaking
