Au existat o serie de cazuri recente în mass-media cu privire la problemele de siguranță în cazul muncii în depozite.
Sindicatul General și Municipal al Lucrătorilor a publicat rezultatele unei anchete privind condițiile de muncă în depozitele Amazon din Marea Britanie. - Focul. Incendiile sunt potențial devastatoare. Dacă nu se respectă regulamentele privind siguranța în caz de incendiu, angajatorul sau managerul responsabil ar putea să se confrunte cu închisoarea sau să primească o amendă.
Angajatorii au obligația legală de a proteja sănătatea și securitatea angajaților lor, precum și a altor persoane prezente în incinta pe care o dețin.
