Personal Injury Solicitors for Hungarian Clients
Hungarian workers are employed across a wide range of industries in the UK, from hospitality and healthcare to construction and professional services. If you have been injured through another party’s negligence, you have the right to claim compensation under English law, with awards for pain and suffering that are typically considerably higher than those available through the Hungarian courts.
We handle accidents at work, road traffic accidents, and injuries in public places for Hungarian clients across England and Wales, all on a No Win, No Fee basis.

Medical Negligence Solicitors for Hungarian Clients
Navigating the NHS can feel unfamiliar for Hungarian clients used to a different healthcare system. When that unfamiliarity is compounded by a genuine medical mistake, such as a delayed diagnosis, a surgical error, or negligent aftercare, the consequences can be life-changing. We handle NHS and private healthcare negligence claims for Hungarian clients across England and Wales.

No Win, No Fee Claims Explained
Our No Win, No Fee funding model is designed to make it possible for anyone, regardless of their financial situation, to pursue a fair claim. Under a Conditional Fee Agreement:
- You pay no legal fees to start your claim
- If your claim is unsuccessful, you owe us nothing for our legal work
- If your claim succeeds, a success fee agreed upfront is taken from your compensation
- An After the Event (ATE) insurance policy can cover expenses and the other side’s costs if the case does not proceed as hoped
Our Hungarian solicitors walk you through the funding arrangements before you decide whether to proceed.
Cases supported by our Hungarian solicitors
Five-figure settlement for the family of a Hungarian truck driver
We secured a five-figure settlement for the widow and children of a Hungarian truck driver who died after falling from a lorry while loading at a warehouse. The case was handled with sensitivity and care, and the Health and Safety Executive later investigated the warehouse and issued a fine. Diana Magyar supported the family throughout, ensuring they could give instructions and receive advice in Hungarian.
£100,000 settlement for Hungarian woman injured at work
A Hungarian waitress received £100,000 after tripping over a bag at work and suffering a serious knee fracture that was likely to require replacement surgery in future. She was unable to work for six months and needed extensive rehabilitation before moving into new employment. Siobhan McIvor and Diana Magyar supported the claim, helping the client secure a settlement she was extremely happy with.
£85,000 settlement for Hungarian factory worker
A young Hungarian factory worker suffered foot fractures requiring surgery after a colleague reversed a forklift truck over his foot at work. His employer tried to argue he was partly at fault, but that position was successfully challenged. With rehabilitation funded by the insurer, the claim eventually settled for £85,000, with Diana Magyar ensuring the client could receive advice in his native Hungarian.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I speak to a Hungarian solicitor?
Yes. We have Hungarian-speaking solicitors and support staff who can advise you in Hungarian throughout the process. All documentation can be explained in Hungarian or English, depending on your preference.
Does it matter where in the UK I live?
Not at all. We act for clients across England and Wales. The vast majority of the claims process is conducted remotely, and we use video calls, phone consultations and email, so travelling to our London offices is rarely necessary.
Can I claim if I am not a British citizen?
Yes. Your right to compensation under English law depends on where the injury or negligence took place, not your nationality, citizenship or immigration status.
How long does a personal injury claim take?
Straightforward claims can resolve in months; more complex cases may take a year or longer. Medical negligence cases, which require expert reports, often take one to three years. We keep you informed at every stage and explain any delays.
How is the success fee calculated?
The success fee is a percentage of your compensation, agreed with you in writing before we start. It is capped by law. We explain exactly how it works during your initial call, so you have no surprises.
