Osbornes a soluționat recent o cerere de vătămare la naștere legată de o doamnă care a născut copilul după un travaliu traumatizant.
Fiul ei a suferit o leziune cerebrală hipoxică și a fost transferat la un alt spital la scurt timp după naștere pentru terapie de răcire. Din fericire, dezvoltarea copilului nu a fost afectată și este sănătos și foarte activ.

Similar cu ruptura de gradul 3, dar se va extinde și la rectum. Cusăturile vor fi necesare pentru a fi închise, iar ruptura de perineu de gradul al treilea și al patrulea, acest lucru se va face adesea sub anestezie locală sau generală într-o sală de operație.
Atunci când evaluați dacă ruptura dumneavoastră este cauza unei neglijenței medicale, factorul crucial va fi diagnosticarea adecvată și apoi repararea rupturii. Dacă reparația este efectuată cu grijă rezonabilă și nu există defecte prezente, atunci cel mai probabil nu va fi motiv de neglijență medicală. Repararea unei rupturi de gradul al treilea sau al patrulea necesită o pregătire de specialitate, pe care majoritatea SHO nu vor fi supuși. Prin urmare, o reparație ar trebui să fie supravegheată direct de un medic ST6 (un medic care are între 6 si 7 ani de specializare) și ar trebui să aibă loc într-o sală de operație.
