Osbornes solicitors are delighted to announce that two more partners in the family law department are now resolution accredited mediators.
As mediators Bridget Thompson and Lisa Pepper will now be able to mediate between parties seeking a divorce.
Lisa Pepper commented:
“Although mediation has been an option for several years, since the introduction of Mediation Information and Assessment Meetings (MIAM’s) in April last year, mediation is becoming a more popular option for clients. Because of the press reports on MIAM’s much more is known about mediation being an alternative option to settle family disputes.
Many clients want a low-cost solution to resolve financial or children matters on divorce and want to have an on-going workable relationship with their ex, rather than fighting them through the courts. Mediation delivers this.
I’m very proud that Bridget and I have been accepted as Resolution Mediators and that there are now four partners at the firm able to offer this service to our clients.”
