WEBINAR: Alternative Pathways To Parenting – Busting The Myths
25 Nov 2020 | Naomi AngellAbout this Event
Wednesday 9th December 17.30 – 18.30
For some, the path to parenthood is not easy and it may become necessary to explore other routes to having a family. These routes include exploring adopting a child, using a surrogate or finding out if fertility treatment will work for you.
It can be a daunting process working out which route is right for you. You will have spoken to others and heard about their experiences or you may have built up an idea of the various processes.
This free event will assist in answering your questions and help you decide if adoption, surrogacy or fertility treatment is the best route for you.
Three of the countries leading family and children lawyers will be ‘busting the myths’ on these routes and providing you with accurate information.
True or False?
- Domestic adoption – it’s impossible to get a young child?
- Intercountry adoption – it’s expensive and difficult?
- Domestic surrogacy – the surrogate might change her mind?
- International surrogacy – it’s only for celebrities?
- Your “sperm donor” is really a sperm donor?
- My child will never know their donor?
- The death of my partner means I cannot have a baby?
Our speakers will answer these and any other questions you may have.
