Osbornes Law are delighted to announce that Jodi Newton has been accredited by AvMA (action against medical accidents).

5 Jul 2021

The accreditation means that Jodi is recognised by AvMA as a specialist medical negligence lawyer.

AvMA is the only UK patients’ charity specialising in patient safety, working closely with patients and their families, healthcare organisations government, charities and lawyers to improve patient safety, fairness and access to justice.

AvMA only accredits solicitors who can demonstrate that they have legal expertise and experience in handing clinical negligence claims exclusively for patients or claimants.

Stephanie Prior, head of clinical negligence and a long time AvMA accredited lawyer comments:
“The whole team would like to congratulate Jodi on achieving AvMA accreditation. The process is stringent and is designed to ensure that only dedicated clinical negligence lawyers who have demonstrable experience in working with patients, their families and friends, are accepted on to the panel.”

Stephanie continues. “Jodi is not only an excellent lawyer, but her whole approach to hr clients is outstanding. All of our clients contact us after a negative experience. Many are traumatised by what they have been through and are grieving the loss of a loved one. Tragically, many of our clients have lost a child. Jodi is known for her sympathetic nature and being able to explain and breakdown the claims process to her clients. She is also fearless when it comes to fighting for her clients and doing her very best to achieve them a sense of justice for what they have been through”.
