Osbornes Law are delighted to welcome back divorce solicitor and partner, Joanne Wescott, who returns from maternity leave.

Joanne specialises in high net worth divorce and finances cases, as well as children matters including disputes over child arrangements and those involving relocation.

Prior to maternity leave, Joanne worked on complex cases involving companies, properties and assets abroad as well as highly contested schedule 1 cases. She also advises on pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements.

Legal 500 features Joanne as a rising star and next-generation lawyer. The legal directory comments that Joanne is “top-notch and widely recognised as a rising star throughout the profession.” The directory continues “Joanne brings a winning combination of great judgement, an immense work ethic, and a relaxed and charming way with opponents and clients alike. Someone you want on your side.”

Joanne comments:

“I am happy to be back from maternity leave at a time when the family department is extremely busy, resulting from an increase in the breakdown of family relationships that recent circumstances have caused. The court system is also under immense pressure with lengthy delays and last-minute cancellations of hearings incurring wasted costs. It is now even more important that parties look to resolve issues outside of court and explore the options available to them with the benefit of good advice.”

Joanne returns today – Monday, 6 September and is able to offer an initial fixed fee appointment via Zoom for £390 including VAT which includes an hours’ consultation and follow-up written advice.
