New Head of Catastrophic Injury joins Osbornes

Osbornes solicitors is delighted to announce the arrival of Ben Posford, who joins the firm on 13th May 2013 as a Partner and Head of Catastrophic Injury.
Ben acts exclusively for individuals who have suffered life-changing injuries of the utmost severity, including spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, fatalities, amputations, industrial diseases and injuries caused by medical negligence. In particular, Ben has a special interest in early rehabilitation issues for the seriously injured, and on behalf of his clients pursues defendants for initial compensation payments from the outset to establish effective care and therapy regimes.
Ben is an accredited senior litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), and Secretary of APIL’s national Damages Special Interest Group. He is also ranked as a leading lawyer in both Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500 directories.

Ben is the third new partner in the Personal Injury department within the space of 18 months after existing associates Sophie Davies and Siobhan McIvor were promoted to the partnership in January 2012. In total the firm has welcomed five new partners since January 2012 with the promotion of Andrew Watson to partner in the family department and the arrival of Simon Nosworthy as Head ofResidential Property team in November 2012.
The total partnership at Osbornes Solicitors now stands at 14. Wendy Wright, who along with Stuart runs the Personal Injury department, is also the firm’s senior partner.
