Major success for Osbornes in 2014 legal directory
News article published on: 20th June 2013
Osbornes Solicitors has seen the number of solicitors who are recommended as leading individuals in their field by the independent legal directory, Chambers and Partners, rise from five to nine in the 2014 edition of the directory.
Although not published until later this year the directory does notify all solicitors who have been selected and will be ranked as leading individuals in the 2014 edition.
The following solicitors from Osbornes will appear in this edition:
Family Law Department:
Personal Injury Department:
Private Client Department:
Social Housing Department:
New entries in the 2014 directory include Jan Atkinson, Lisa Pepper and William Ford. Ben Posford who joined Osbornes in May 2013 also retains his leading individual status.
Jan Atkinson, who specialises in high value estate administrations, international estates and disputed probate and trusts cases comments:
“To be recognised and ranked as a leading individual in private client work is a real privilege and one that highlights the joint effort the whole department makes to continually provide all of our clients with the highest possible standard of legal advice and overall service”.
The rankings are decided upon only after an intensive research period during which Chambers and Partners conducts thousands of interviews from within the London legal sector and with clients of the firm.
Lisa Pepper, specialist Collaborative lawyer states:
“To be one of four new entries in the 2014 directory is quite an achievement and one which really demonstrates how well regarded Osbornes is not only by our clients but also by our peers in other firms. In particular to have five members of the family department, three of which are partners, recognised as leaders in family law in London says a lot about the department as a whole.
The rankings show the depth of expertise the family team at Osbornes offers clients. Those ranked specialise in divorce and financial proceedings, care of children, adoption, child abduction, mediation and collaborative law“.
The rankings come after seven solicitors from across the firm were given the title of ‘superlawyers’ earlier this year by another legal publication.
