Jan Atkinson, head of the private client department at Osbornes will be speaking at the Contentious Probate: Essentials for non-contentious practitioners conference on June 19th in London.

Jan who heads up the wills, probate, trusts and disputed estates team focuses on wealth planning, high value estate administrations, international estates and contentious probate and trusts cases.

Jan is a registered Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and a registered Contentious Trust and Probate Specialist (CTAPS). Jan also has an active role on the Law Society Private Client Section Executive Committee and has membership of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and theAssociation of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS).

This conference gives lawyers an insight into how claims arise, how to avoid them and how to deal with them when they do happen. Jan will be speaking on “risk management for PR’s.

As well as Jan, speaking at the conference will be Miranda Allardice, Richard Brown, Fiona Campbell-White, Richard Dew, Thomas Dumont and Gill Steel.
