Family and divorce solicitor, Lisa Pepper, featured in Private Client Adviser
News article published on: 20th June 2012
Osbornes solicitors are delighted that Lisa Pepper has featured in the April 2012 edition of Private Client Adviser.
Lisa writes on the government’s response to the Norgrove report, which envisages sweeping changes in Family Law – subsequently set out in the Queen’s speech in May 2012. Important aspects include a presumption of shared parenting to be enshrined in the Children Act 1989, and for private law children cases Contact and Residence Orders are to be abolished, replaced by a new child arrangement’s order.
“It’s important practitioners get to grips with the wide-ranging changes that are coming in. The more ways we are able to inform both lawyers and the public about the changes that are afoot, the better.”
