Criminal trial begins for company director charged with gross negligence manslaughter

On 2 December 2010 Mr Anghel Milosavlevici, a Romanian construction worker, was killed while excavating the basement of a house on Ellerby Street in Fulham.  He was working for Siday Construction Ltd at the time of the excavation, and on 10 November 2014 the trial of one of Siday Construction’s directors began at Southwark Crown Court.  He is charged with gross negligence manslaughter.

The trial is expected to last 4-5 weeks.
