Compensation for woman in road accident

Solicitors in London

News article published on: 20th June 2013

A woman who was travelling as a back seat passenger in a car which was hit in the rear by a HGV has received compensation to cover loss of earnings after the accident. The lady suffered head injuries and temporary paralysis of her left arm had to undergo extensive treatment including cognitive behavioural therapy, acupuncture and medication.

Following this treatment however, the lady continued to experience headaches, anxiety, memory loss and fatigue. Due to these on-going symptoms the lady was unable to continue working in her pre-accident capacity and had to reduce her hours and take on a more junior role, which was reflected in her reduced salary.

The compensation she received included her past and future loss of earnings. Osbornes solicitors can help you if after following a head or brain injury you incurred a loss of earnings. Our expert solicitors can assist you in being compensated for such a loss and the continued care and support you will need as a result of the injury.
