Osbornes Law hires international expert to growing wills team 6 Jul 2020
With over ten years’ experience, Katie joins the firm as an associate. Kate specialises in contentious trusts and probate matters and joins a team that has continued to grow during the pandemic.
Her experience spans Inheritance Act cases, challenges to the validity and structure of wills and trusts, breach of trust cases and disputes between executors/trustees and beneficiaries.
Katie, who qualified as a solicitor in 2011, is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and currently a STEP Technician. She has passed the Education Course for the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) and is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE).
She also undertakes Court of Protection work including Statutory Will applications and making and contesting Deputyship applications
Katie says: “I am excited to be joining Osbornes and to be given the opportunity to further my career working alongside Jan and the rest of the team. I am looking forward to meeting everyone via Zoom, the new face to face, very soon!”
