Osbornes family lawyers contribute to the Family Law Protocol 28 Oct 2015
Specialist adoption lawyer Naomi Angell is one of the contributors for the 4th edition of the The Family Law Protocol published by the Law Society. Naomi, along with fertility law specialist Anest Mathias, drafted the chapter ‘Alternative Pathways to Parenthood’ which provides guidance on adoption, surrogacy and fertility law.
The Family Law Protocol which was first published by the Law Society in 2002 provides clear and helpful guidance to family practitioners. The chapter written by Naomi and Anest is a new addition to the protocol.
“Since the third edition was published in 2010 there been many changes in family law and it is no surprise that the fourth edition has been expanded to include guidance on pathways to parenthood as more people seek advice on these issues. This is true of the two other new chapter on domestic abuse and forced marriage”.
Naomi is a leading adoption and surrogacy lawyer, representing clients in both domestic and international cases. Naomi was also recently the recipient of the Cornwell Award for Outstanding Contribution to Family Law at the 2015 Family Law Awards.
Anest represented a couple in landmark case relating to serious mistakes made by fertility clinics which called into question parentage of children born under the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 2008.
Osbornes will be at the Fertility Show at London Olympia on 7-8th November 2015. Come and see us at stall 95.
