Resolution, the leading association for family lawyers has published “The modern family” a new guide for family lawyers, which features Naomi Angell, specialist adoption solicitor at Osbornes as a co-author.
The new guide, released in March 2012 is a collection of essays which provide detailed history of how the law in each area has developed, what it is trying to achieve and what that means for clients. The guide emphasises not just family breakdown, but how families and family networks can be strengthened.
Naomi was invited to write the chapter on adoption and fostering in the guide, which appears as chapter six. Naomi is a specialist child care lawyer and a leading adoption lawyers, specialising in both domestic and international adoption. Naomi is ranked in the independent legal directory Chambers & Partners as a leading individual and is described as the “doyenne of adoption law” as well as being the “first person whom applicant adopters should go to”.
Naomi is also joint chair of the Law Society Family Law Committee.
