Party Wall Disputes

If you own a terraced or semi-detached house then you are likely to share wall with a neighbour. This is known as a party wall and if any works are planned to the party wall then you need to ensure that they do not fall within the Party Wall etc Act 1996.

The Act sets out the process which needs to be followed if you are undertaking certain works to the party wall. In such circumstances, you will need the assistance of a specialist surveyor who will be able to guide you through the process without any problems.

If, however, a dispute arises, Osbornes has a team of specialist solicitors who have experience in advising you to achieve the desired result. At Osbornes we recognise that such a result can only be achieved when your legal advisor works in conjunction with your surveyor and we are very experienced in working with other professional advisors in such cases.
